I’m very grateful for this help because Eydie had a much more accurate assessment of the kind and length of assistance that would be best for me. I wasn’t very realistic about the help I would need. I’m now two weeks after surgery and as I look back I bless Comfort Keepers and the aides who assisted me. They kept me company in the middle of the night. They prepared food and drink to sustain me. In home care services are not typically covered by most private health insurance carriers like United Healthcare. However, we do accept long term care insurance policies that will often cover private pay home care services. We provide worker’s comp insurance for all our employees. It is the law in NJ. All of our CHHAs and caregivers are bonded and insured so that that you do not need to worry about any of these legal requirements. That is one of many advantages of using an agency for in home care services in lieu of paying an individual.
