My brothers wedding ceremony was there at the end of October. One is fooled by the simple outside because the inside is very beautiful and ornate. The priest seemed very nice and welcoming. I'm not catholic so I wasn't fan of the lengthy mass, but the priest seemed to deliver it well and many others enjoyed it.

Acoustics are difficult to hear/understand. I went for a funeral of a beloved family member. I do not feel like remembering it at this time. I am grieving.
