Ron and his crew have shuttled us with our kayaks twice now. We did the short run (3 miles) the first time and the long run (7 miles) yesterday. Both times, they've been super helpful and reliable. Ron is great about telling you the river conditions on the Etowah and helping you choose the best option. The longer route has some rocks- I'd only do it again if the water is very high. We'll be back for sure!

2 kayaks for the 6 mile trip (about 3-4 hours depending on water speed) was about $80 2 weeks ago when we went.
Yes they rent tubes and have a pick up service at certain points on the river
Hello! We operate on a first come first serve basis and on Saturdays we can "run out" of equipment early. When we do, we run a wait-list and try to get a second trip out of equipment that left shortly after open . Hopefully by your desired 1pm trip, we'd have plenty of kayak coming back after their morning excursions, for your group. Weather permitting, see you that Saturday!
We do offer shuttling for people with their own equipment so, only if you want us to move your kayak for you!
We rented kayaks and I think that was the route we took and it was about 2 1/2 to 3hrs. I think they will shuttle you if you have your own kayaks. Hope this helps.
