My family and I stayed there over memorial weekend and I must say that was the best cabin we’ve ever stayed at! It was clean, very nice and my goodness they give you plenty of towels to use for your stay. Plus the cost is great compared to others I’ve stayed at. The day we had planned on floating, the water was too high for my daughter to be on the river. At first I was disappointed but then I realized that they actually cared about her safety and I loved them even more for that! Since we like hiking, they gave us some amazing places to explore with maps and directions. Then that following day we were able to do our float and the canoe service was great. We will definitely be back there!! Thanks for the wonderful time!! I’m so glad I found this place!

We stopped in on one day just to get pricing information. The woman at the counter was very friendly and helpful. We mentioned we were planning our trip for the next day. She proceeded to tell us other things to do in the area in the meantime. That was useful since we weren't sure what we were going to do. The next day, we showed up at 830am (I recommend this time as trips can start as early as 9). There was a large group of several families trying to rent (and trying the patience of the clerk at the counter). She was very polite and friendly to everyone. We didn't need her to repeat everything and that made it easier for her. We drove our car to the finish line and a Dirst employee took us to the starting line. He helped get the canoe to the river and helped us launch. He was very friendly. The canoe trip is awesome. It took us just over 2 hours on a very hot (95 degrees) day. I recommend taking it easy. You don't have to paddle as much as we did and can really take in the sites. I highly recommend Dirst Canoe.

We loved the cabin and the staff. The owner herself ensured an easy after hours check in. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed and nothing we didn’t. There were plenty of cups and dishes, corn hole, puzzles, yardzee, and even a Weber 22 in master touch on the patio. One gracious young man even gave us info on some great local swim holes. I will definitely book with these fine folks again. I am already planning on bringing my in-laws out.

We have stayed here every year for over 7 years, each summer. Dirst is a blast! More personal service than many of the other outfitters. Cabins are great, well priced, the people are great! We just love it :-)
