Used to love it here, but the glassware and silverware was filthy. Lip stains on rims of glasses 🤢. Food was okay, just felt less than sanitary. Probably won’t be coming back. Spice station is the best in town now. Too bad, Sarasota icon and long standing business. I hope they get cleanliness in order. Polish your glasses and silverware!

I hadn't been to Bangkok in awhile- but made a return visit recently upon being reminded about how good it is... and, my friend was correct! We were seated right away and brought water and drinks. The staff was very friendly and courteous. I decided to see if I could have duck pad thai- and I'm glad they obliged, with beautifuly cooked duck slices replete with crispy skin and a bit of leg tucked in under the splendid noodles. (I would definitely ask for the array of spices to be brought to your table- they have fish sauce and spicy oils and other offerings to spoon on). The crab rangoon appetizer was the best I've had- I could actually taste the crab meat. All of this served in lovely surroundings, (and we liked the music, too). The nice touch as well- reasonably priced. I will definitely come back, as finding this all around delicious dining experience for decent pricing is hard to find. Thank you Bangkok, I'm glad you're here.

Although the food and wine are truly great at Bangkok, what I relish most is the terrific ambiance. The servers dress in traditional attire. The sound system plays exotic music and the furnishings and decor take me to a faraway land. And, yes, the servers are knowledgeable about gluten! I love this place.

I’ve been a regular customer for years here and the food is always great but recently one of the hostess here has been extremely rude every time I order food on multiple occasions and honestly makes me not even want to go here anymore. Do better nobody wants to feel degraded when just trying to get something to eat.
