Been there a few times over the years -- food gets worse each year. Had a Quohog stuffed. Sorry to say that I could not find the clam but there was plenty of salty stuffing. Ordered the calamari - not edible with a pasty coating that makes Elmer's glue look yummy by comparison. Loved the calamari five years ago and with each passing year the quality has gone down to the point that we reached a new low of disgusting this year. I convinced my wife to try Chapin's one more time. My wife had the cod - or some of it I should say. The waitress was lovely but the hostess was as friendly as a junk yard dog. She told us no seats available in side for a while and then she sat us in front of the speaker for the nights entertainment outside. Asking to be moved -- magically there were tables inside that were available - several when we got seated a minute later. Perhaps for a drink and some entertainment -- but for anything that is edible go elsewhere.... sorry to say -- WENDY'S WAS AN UPGRADE.

What a treat in going here. We were to meet friends on the Cape, and asked to stop by for a meal. The fresh from the sea choices were diverse, and there was also many land lover selections also. Specials were offered and we ordered a diverse set of choices. Prices were great for the Cape and Emma our server was so very attentive. Please checkout this staple of Dennis Port, you won't regret(Ask for Emma!)

I ordered Irish mixed grill and it was dry and overcooked. Wife ordered baked cod and it was bland and undercooked. But the onion ring was decent. The wait staff was inattentive, didn’t even give us utensils and napkins until we asked. We asked to have asparagus as sides, and instead of upcharge, they were charged as extra full side dish, while we didn’t get the side dish that supposed to come with the entrees. All entrees served on paper and plastic plates! Extra 5% charge for paying with card. Disappointing.
