Plan for 5 weeks. 56 hours of online training and testing. DOT physical Drug screen and securement of CDL A permit. Then 3 weeks of practical training.

100 for license and 40 for permit, and I think I paid another 40 to take written test to get permit, and you will have to pay for a medical card, which can be from 70 to 200 depending on where you go to get it. I got Mine At Sisters of Mercy and it cost me $140

look they are just school and the teach to drive truck but I went half class and I was rejected at the physical and they refunded my money after takin almost 400 dollars

I know that when I went through Trans Tech, they were the Swift CDL training hub for the area. Swift, of course, offers training all over the country. I know there is another TransTech near Hickory, NC. You don't have to drive Swift to go through TransTech. I drive for Roehl, but Swift pays for your training going through there.
