We were doing some upgrades to our upstairs bathroom when an unforeseen leak from the bathtub came down through the kitchen ceiling. I called ServPro in West Chester and they scheduled an appointment to remediate the water damage in the kitchen. The two technicians, Tristan & Mike, came out and installed the dehumidifier and air fans to insure there would not be hidden moisture in the ceiling that might turn to mold. They were courteous and professional. The next day Dan came to our house to verify that the equipment was performing properly. It was. A couple days later Mike returned to verify the drying process and remove the equipment. I recommend this ServPro team to anyone in the West Chester area!

Using Servpro for their 24/7 services is like going to the ER. It’s a lifeline when you need it, but you have no idea what the financial impact will be after services are rendered. Costs were NOT transparent to the customer making it nearly impossible to make informed decisions that can have big future repercussions. The final invoice was 200% more than the verbal "ballpark estimate" provided on the first visit. As a result nearly all of my coverage limit was spent just for cleanup leaving little for renovation to put my basement back “as though it never happened.” I had a good experience with Servpro while my basement cleanup was ongoing. They did a good job. But I wouldn't give my endorsement until Servpro starts providing more transparent pricing information to customers up front to help them make fully informed decisions. I'd suggest looking at other water cleanup companies.
