You must consider Glen Mills. After an extensive search for an ideal regional Senior community, our family decided on GM. Four (4) months later, we could not be more pleased. More importantly, mom is pleased. A retired MSW and family counselor, mom is quite aware of how “all of this” is supposed to be done. And GM has not disappointed. Director Carol ensured a worry-free transition on Mom’s Valentine's Day move … staff & residents welcomed Mom as if a dear friend had returned home. Day & night staff provide seamless compassionate care, which continues to be above and beyond, in light of mom’s developing difficulties. Director Michelle is now working with our family as we transition to an advanced level of personal care. Family and non-resident friends are always greeted warmly by staff and fellow residents. Meals with Mom are delicious. She is ALWAYS well groomed, and her apartment is ALWAYS clean. As all of this is supposed to be. GM has provided my family peace of mind we’ve not enjoyed for well over a year. Thank you Carol. Thank you Michelle. Thank you Glen Mills.

Transitioning a parent from their home to a new living arrangement is always a little scary not only for seniors but also for their kids left trying to make the best decision for an aging parent's best welfare and happiness. We had looked at a few other senior living facilities before we choose Glen Mills Senior Living. We are really happy how smooth this transition has been not only for our Dad but also for us. We wanted an independent arrangement for him that would include a supportive community around him 24/7 to know he was safe. In addition to the visual aesthetics of Glen Mills, knowing that your staff turnover was so low was another reason we choose Glen Mills. Our Dad also needed a living arrangement that could provide a consistent community of caregivers. Our Dad is super social so we knew he would need to build friendships with not only other residents but also with the entire Glen Mills Senior Living Community and thankfully that has happened. Another benefit that we have appreciated was that we could bring some of his personal home furnishings along. It has made his apartment feel more like home. Our Dad seems to appreciate the cooked meals, how clean his room is kept, and that he has a day filled with activity options. He seems happy!
