There used to be a bike shop on Bay street which would be your best bet, but I believe they moved further up on bay street and is nowhere near the ferry... There isn't citibike rental yet, as Emilia said your best option to Snug Harbor would be by bus or even a quick uber
it's a beautiful place to visit for entire family So Much To Do For Everyone To Enjoy
Some of its features have a nominal entry fee but entrance to the park is free
No it was the Future of Storytelling event. My team maintained their space throughout the event, it ran for a week. The photos i took were of their last night before wrapping it all up
The building are not only the walk ways are I will post pictures tomorrow after work so you can see for yourself
After you get off the Ferry You go to the Bus Ramps that are located in the main terminal look for Bus #S40 to Snug Harbor road.it is 11 bus stops from the ferry.
Depending on how many there are, I recommend a chartered bus or a transport service that can take everyone straight to the building you need to go to to minimize walking.
There was a hot dog stand in the summer. No restaurants. Some machines in one of the buildings. Bring your own food and coffee.

We will not be hosting the New York Winter Lantern Festival this year, due to Covid-19. We are hopeful for next year! Snug Harbor's grounds remain open, including the New York Chinese Scholar's Garden--perfect for a day visit! Stay safe and happy holidays! http://www.snug-harbor.org
The park is open, for walking and touring. I believe the outdoor restaurant is also open
Depends on the needed restrictions in place at the scheduled time of the event.
I'm not sure, but the grounds should be open for some walking and exploring!
Not sure of open time. It closes at dusk but I'm sure you can get this info from their website.
Groupon has tickets for $9,99 after 8:30pm, best time to go and parking was available
Not when I went. It allowed you to go through the light show once, and you buy a ticket for that.
Yes
It is mentioned in one of the websites: "The Museum is closed on National Holidays: on New Year's Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day."
may
Free parking is available on the Snug Harbor campus
It's oudoors. The bathrooms (porta potties) are in the event next to the food area. You don't have to exit to use them.
I buy a ticket to see winter lanterns at Dec 2 are still opening for the regular hours for visit
There is no parking restrictions U will be fine with parking either inside or around the neighborhood
Sorta. The Noble Museum which is in one of the buildings has a few Snug Harbor things.
I understand they are planning to expand public access to bathrooms
5 for adults, 4$ seniors/students and kids 5 and under are free
They have a real fire truxk and a range of activities for any child. You can be be there a whole day

There's no cost to enter the grounds and enjoy the botanical gardens and property. There is admission for the Children's Museum, Staten Island Museum and the Chinese Scholar Sculpture Garden. I am not sure of the admission price for each venue.
