Beautiful place to stay! My fiance and I were pleasantly surprised. Our room has a nice backyard area, easy access to go outside and the parking area & the well-maintained. The manager and staff are so good—a nice touch on our trip to Wells, Maine.

Clean, sensibly-priced rooms in the middle of a tourist-glutted stretch of the Maine coast. The rooms are spare and the walls thin, but if your focus is exploring the beauty of Maine, you probably won't mind. We didn't. The people who run this place are friendly and helpful.

I never got to stay at the hotel because we had something come up and had to cancel the trip, but dealing with this property has been a NIGHTMARE. 1st, I booked through Agoda. The website said that the amount for the trip was due upon arrival and that no money would be taken from my account until then. 20 minutes later they took over $130. No big deal though, I contacted them to see if they’d just be taking that off of the total when we arrived. No response. 1 week goes by- I call every day and no response and no reply to my email’s. 3 weeks go by. I continue to contact them via email and phone with absolutely no response. I then received and email from them stating there were renovations being done and that the room we had booked was not available, but that they’d move us to a sister hotel. Okay. Again, not a big deal but we still hadn’t addressed my previous concern. Then we had to cancel the trip a few days later. I asked about the money AGAIN and they replied “don’t worries. We refund the monies to you.” Really professional right? Insert eye roll here. That was a MONTH AGO. No contact has been made on their end and they refuse to reply to me with NO refund yet. Absolutely the WORST customer service. Extremely UNPROFESSIONAL.

Very interesting place! Taken by surprise with the weathered coastal look on the outside and when I entered the room…. Pretty recent refinish with good paint, floors, and the air in the room was refreshing. Four stars because I hadn’t expected to stay here and possibly a five if I stay here during the summer and get to enjoy one of the most radical beaches in MAine!!
