It was a nice experience and so close to home. I didn’t even knew it existed until a TikTok video. It’s 30 bucks and to be honest I do think a little in the pricier side. But we all a good time and they have amazing views and affordable foods and drinks.

No, you must have a reservation for the entire party
You have to go online and make a reservation.
Maybe 4 minutes total. You park in a grassy field as directed by the lifeguards. Then walk 3ish minutes to a place where you pay the remaining balance and get a life jacket. (If you get there early then you are a 1 minute walk.) Then another 1 minute walk to the quarry. You can rent a table in the shade for $15 or set up your chairs and umbrella in a grassy area.
So it’s cost $15/$20 a person at the door weekly and weekend prices.

The quarry is 25 feet deep. All swimmers must wear a life vest at all times in the water unless they have passed our swim test. Lifeguards are on duty whenever there is swimming. Please read through this page for more info about swimming and the swim test. Thanks! http://www.carriganfarms.com/the-quarry/swim-parties/swim-test
Hi Lisa, Carrigan Farms, LLC is a privately owned farm, not a park. Our quarry is open for swimming on assorted dates in the summer and there is a fee to enter. The farm is also open for strawberry picking in May, apple picking in September and pumpkin picking in October. We have specific activities corresponding to specific seasons. Be sure to check our website for details and feel free to get in touch via email if we can answer more questions. Thanks!
Sorry Drake, jumping from the waterfall isn't allowed. The highest jump is 16 feet. Also, we don't allow camping. Be sure to check carriganfarms.com for the most up-to-date info on what is happening at the farm.
I doubt the water would as the amoeba prefers pretty warm water and The Quarry has cooler water. Even if it did, unless the water is forced up your nose, the amoeba is harmless.
The water in the quarry is fed by a natural spring and its depth makes it very cold at the bottom. Occasionally if we have algae growth we treat the water with algaecide. The water quality is much cleaner than both Lake Norman and Lake Wylie. Thanks for asking!
Hi Anton, We request that you don't bring alcohol to open swim. Thanks!
Hi Tra, Thanks for asking. We ask that you not bring pets to ope swim. Thanks
Hi Heather. On the dates and times that we have open swim you can fish in the ponds as an activity included with open swim. You cannot fish in the quarry itself, only in the two ponds, and only during open swim dates and times. Cost in 2018 is $15 per person for open swim. All fishing is all catch-and-release, meaning you cannot keep the fish to take home; rather, you must throw them back. Please visit our website or call our office for more details. Thanks
