I hope it gets better! We went there for brunch today, he got the Breakfast Bowl which was dry and totally unimpressive. I got the Huevos Rancheros which was pretty to look at but almost impossible to eat as it was more like a cup instead of a flat tortilla, loads of avocado (not guac - no flavor) and only a measly 6 bites of chorizo. The atmosphere is nice though and they had live music. The wait staff was nice and they were working really hard. It looked like they were most likely understaffed especially since they had a private party going on in the other room. We had a burger to go from here once in February that was delicious so we were bummed that we didn't enjoy our brunch. The restaurant biz is hard -I hope it gets better!! I will try again!!

So I live in the area and there is almost no mention of this place. Regardless, this is a hidden jem. I went on Tuesday night, trivia night, so a fairly tame crowd. Chef Sean was serving inspiring pub food done to the T. Wonderful flat bread pizza, perfect wings with a tasteful Sriracha honey glaze and for the main a steak burger with egg and bacon executed flawlessly. Check it out, you won't be disappointed. Oh and prices are very reasonable considering the quality.

First time at the 874 Cafe and already planning on our next visit. I rate it better than a 4 but not quite a 5 as they ran out of corn beef hash so the serving was very small.

Outstanding! This place is such a welcome addition to the area. Chef owner Sean Smith presents fresh ideas and fabulous food in a clean, relaxing, and uncluttered environment. Try the fries with truffle oil parmesan. So good! We loved the grilled pizzas and steak burgers. Can't wait to go back.
