By far our favorite campground! Most sites are big, water front. Quite, clean..

We love this small campground. The park attendants are fantastic. The host are awesome, too. We just stayed 2 weeks and will be back in September. Some updates would be nice, but it is well maintained as it is. Thank you for your service to make this small campground one of the best.

Hidden gem, never seen a cleaner campground than this one. Extremely quiet and every campsite has a view. Park Attendants are extremely helpful and are always available. Its even close to restaurants!

All I can say is this place is unbelievable!!! We were on site 6. Private and huge spot. (And our spot was smaller than most) Walter (camp host) is so friendly and helpful! He manages this place very well!! My only complaint……. PLEASE STAT OPEN LATER IN THE SEASON! It is closed during the best time to camp! We will definitely be returning next year!

Yes it's about 10 minutes away

When will the campground open for 2021? It’s been a few years since we’ve been here and would like to be able to look at the camp sites before making reservations.

March 26 according to the booking availability on Recreation.gov.

Does anyone have any details about the water and if a wheelchair would be welcomed? Would like to see more pictures of the shore and of the facilities.

There really is only one site that is right on the water, #30, and it books quickly. The lake is muck from the clay. Not good for a wheelchair. However, if you can float, it is wonderful! I am disabled, and once I get into the water I am good. Wear good water shoes as there are sharp pieces of quartz everywhere.
