Homestyle cooking? It looks and tastes like cafeteria food. Cheap, disgusting food that is made long before you arrive. I was questioning my choices as I watched my meal slopped onto a styrofoam dinner tray by people who seemed like they would rather be somewhere else. The country fried steak is swimming in gravy before it is served so it was mushy and the gravy had sat long enough to grow a skin on it. Instant mashed potatoes instead of real potatoes, brown gravy that tastes like it came from a packet and green beans from a can. I don't understand what they are trying to do here. It's soul food with no soul. At least the portions are large and the price is cheap for those who can stomach it. Waynesboro deserves better.
