My 19 month daughter loved it! There wasn't many seaturtles there this time, however that is a good thing.

Non profit, sea turtle sanctuary. They do several talks about the turtle rehabilitation where you can see the 'patients' . Nice, informative displays. Of course a gift shop with tourist junk, but some really nice hand made art, and all for a good cause. Definitely worth a stop.

It was good until we got yelled at by a Karen. The doctor got sprayed in the face. Funniest thing I've ever seen.

So good to see many turtles are being saved and rehabilitated. Great work!

Yes, I would call and ask for the main contact. I am sure they will able to give you an update.

Yes
There is, it is a about $10 per person, but proceeds stay there and help fund the hospital.
All correct, in addition to the Kemps Ridley Sea Turtle.
Usually between May and August. But the nests are usually guarded by volunteers. If you are lucky they may let you observe from a distance but only with a red light. NO FLASH PICTURES AT ALL.
That's a question for the City.
To report sick, injured, or deceased sea turtles, hatchings, eggs, or carcasses in the state of Georgia, call 1-800-2-SAVE-ME and a professional will be dispatched to the location. Handling of sea turtles should be done by professionals to ensure the prevention of additional injury and to collect important data at the scene.
I would could call them to see if any field trips from surrounding schools are scheduled. However definitely a week day would be less traffic. We have been on Thrus.- Sunday and it was packed.
