1 hour. Great tour with excellent commentary. Try to do the sunset.harbour cruise as well. Fantastic views of the civil war forts and coastal areas.
The carriages can hold up to 16 people however they average around 12 passengers per tour.
We do. The best way to book these tours is go to Palmettocarriage.com. There you will find schedule and can book. Let me know if you have any other questions!
We booked in advance (1 week), but others were walking up and booking
No. It is maybe like 2 miles walking distance

We no longer offer free parking however we have a parking lot located directly behind the barn at 22 Anson Street. The fee is $16 if you pay in advance (buy online or over the phone) or $18 if you pay when you get here. You are allowed to keep your car hear all day. There is an attendant working, no app or machines.
I wouldn't see why not. I'm sure they'll even help you board and get off the wagon.
Hi Sandee! Our last hour long residential tour leaves at 5:00 that day. We should be offering evening tours that time of year as well. Those are usually offered at 5:45 or 6:00 and are an abbreviated version of the daytime tour. They last 35min.

Our first tour leaves our barn at 9:15 and we continue to depart every 15 minutes depending on demand. Deb
We are handicapped accessible. We have a ramp that leads to the dock, and the dock is where you will get on your carriage. The dock is level with the carriage so it is just a step away. The walker cannot go on the carriage, but we have a safe place for it while you are on tour. Deb
We do not have a "2-3 day" package, but we do have combinations with the harbor tour, Edmonston-Alston House, Powder Magazine and Middleton Plantation. You can do any of these any day, they do not have to be done in one day so you can make it a couple day package is you wish. Deb
I thought it was very affordable. I believe we paid $26 a person if I am not mistaken. One hour ride.
They are available based off reservation. Contact the office to schedule your tour early
All of our carriages have roofs but they are tall. Sun may come in from the sides depending on the time of day. If you have a certain row that you would like to sit in, make a request when you check in and we will do our best to accommodate you.
We parked right next to the facility down what almost looked like an alleyway. $10 for the whole day. We walked to lunch and the marketplace after our ride.
Inexpensive paid parking is available around the corner. The streets are small so not much on street parking available.
Millhouse is our beautiful 17 year old white Percheron. He weighs 1750 pounds and pulls our small white private carriages that seat 4 people. He is often requested for weddings and special events.
Our daytime tours are around 1 hour long. Evening tours last around 35 minutes.
No problem getting on or off. .there is a platform for you to use.
