This is a great campground. It is very well managed and always well maintained. It offers one of the best views in Southern Wisconsin.

Others have said it, but this really is a hidden gem! We had one of the dry camping sites, so they might not have all been so well kept. However, we found the grounds to be pristine, the grass to be full, and the sites to be very spacious. What it may seem to lack in services, ot makes up for in natural beauty and peacefulness. Wonderful campground with a beautiful sunset!

I almost don't want to share how much I like this little gem. The park, camp ground, play ground, bike path, walking trails are all great and well-maintained. The area is BEAUTIFUL. I also love running and biking from this location into the hiking/off-road biking trails that extend West into the Blue Mounds State Park, and the roads around this driftless area are "Horribly Hilly" and offer stunning views.

Beautiful little park. Really nice bike trail that has a bit of a climb leading up to the park from the Military Ridge Trail. The park is great. I biked here with my toddler and he loved the playground set at the park. The playground kept him entertained for a good 30 minutes. Coming mid-day on a Wednesday there were few others at the park and playground, so I felt pretty safe with my kid playing on the playground keeping Covid-19 in mind.
