The ONLY reason I gave 4 stars is becuz,the girl at the front desk,was rude to my son Who was the one adopting a dog.But the Owner and ALL the other employees(except girl @front desk)Were all so very helpful and nice,they were so cool Especially the Owner.Anyways my son ended up adopting a Lil brown & white 6 mos.old girl pitbull.He named her Athena .She's so sweet She goes to the door wen she needs to use the bathroom.and she sleeps with him.Hes very pleased with his choice.Thank you All AT NORTEAST GA.ANIMAL SHELTER.

Dog adoption is $55 that covers spay or neuter and vaccines Cat adoption is $45 and covers the same! We run specials alot of time and have discounted adoptions on certain animals!!

Yes, as far as I know. I took some animals there not to long to long ago that I found, kept for a week to find the owners. One was a beagle and the other was a pitbull, both very sweet. They said they should be rehomed fast.

If u r in the county call Steve Thomas the Sherriff or city Bruce Carlisle and report it. They can be held reliable. Please report this it is wrong of that dog to kill urs. I would be after me an owner of that dog

I keep all mine i use to work there the only way they put an animal down is if its absolutely needed. Tammy is the director now an she will take animals home so she won't have to kill them
Take them here they are good people. They dont try to make any money off them either. It really depends on the county you live in too. Look up your county humane society. For an example franklin county humane society. This is what that is its not an animal hospital. Also might wanna call ahead of time to make sure you would be taking them to the right place because you dont want to get all the way there just to find out you just went to the wrong place. Js cause ive done it before.
You can with there if you love animals, as a start. Then i would pursue a vet degree.
