I find that my experience here is too much a hit or miss… I have been coming here for years and the service and the beer selection have been pretty good, however the food is not reliable. I love german food and a good schnitzel- which is unbelievably easy to make as long as you remember to pound it thin. During my last visit the schnitzel, which used to be pretty good lately, was again thick and chewy… not a real schnitzel…that cut newer saw a meat mallet. Maybe it was just a fluke, maybe a new chef but I will not be getting the schnitzel again since it is too much a hit or miss.

We took our family to happy hour and it was the perfect spot! We ordered $5 food (burgers, pork sandwiches, tots, pretzels) and my spouse and I tried some excellent brews. The environment was friendly and we enjoyed our time there! Food was delicious and beer was super!

Sat outside but didn't see any dogs. Outdoor seating was busy and a bit loud. I know my dog wouldn't be able to tolerate it

Everyone is required to wear a mask when they are not at their table. Cleanings are performed frequently throughout the day on high-touch surface areas. All tables are spaced out either 6ft away from each other or have plexi-glass dividing them. Bay Street Biergarten has a large outdoor patio dining area and heaters and a large, high ceiling indoor dining area. Staff are required to wear their masks at all times. Bay Street Biergarten also has a separate large tented area outside for private events/holiday parties.
