Make sure you give yourself extra time to find parking and to wait in line to check in even if you have reservations. Unfortunately we did have to wait an additional 30 minutes until our table was ready. Besides that our service was quick and the food came out hot and ready. We ordered the combo of mussels, shrimp and crab which was incredible. We also had Calamari which the large order was a much larger portion than expected. The SeaBass was a great choice with couscous pasta and you can't ever go wrong with the fish and chips.

We ordered the double crab and double mussels. This was definitely a decision based on the people who were next us. They're crab was super huge and we sat by waiting for the same. The last, when our crab came it was half the size of theirs. What a let down. Other platters we watched walked by had similar size crabs. I would just say if the table is not ordering and all you can eat a little detention should be given to the size crab that you send out. They did make an adjustment on the mussels for us as the ones that arrived on the platter were super dried out. Can't complain about the wait staff they were great. How's the staff was just as good finding us a place outside. I love this place I was disappointed a little bit of what I ordered so I'll just make a different decision next time. Well worth coming and enjoying the view. Even the crab mishap did not dampen the overall experience.

We had a wonderful lunch on their patio today, Service was excellent and she helped us to make selections for 6 adults to share as we wanted to try the seafood platters. We had the grilled shrimp, mussels, steamed clams, seafood stew and calamari appetizer. A couple people had a cup of the clam chowder which was generously sized. I also had the salted caramel vanilla crunch cake which was very good.

Beautiful view of the water and Carquinez Bridge. The food was good but on the pricy side. One party enjoyed the fried chicken sandwich but had to order fries for $10 more a bit exorbitant. The steam clams was tasty and the crab sweet and delicious but again the prices were steep and not for everyday dining.

Been there 30 times if not more never ever gotten sick and haven't known anyone to have gotten sick.
You can lull up in front of the entry and drop off easily then park.
A Dead Fish Story Who would name a restaurant “The Dead Fish”? The chef explains: When I was a boy growing up in Italy, I loved to watch my Nonna (grandma) work in the kitchen. The catch of the day-be it calamari, crab or a variety of fresh fish-was magic in Nonna’s able hands. Now my Nonna was a little Italian grandma with a big Italian heart. Friends, neighbors, even the local fishermen all knew, if you made your way to Nonna’s when you smelled that wonderful fish cooking, you’d be welcome to a plate. With so many people clamoring for her cooking, Nonna couldn’t be bothered with small details. She never followed a recipe-she just stirred and sampled. And she never remembered the names of the fish she used!! Whenever I would ask, “Nonna, what kind of fish is this?” she would shrug her shoulders and smile – “IT’S A DEAD FISH!!” Everyone laughed and had a great time. With fond memories of my Nonna, I welcome you to THE DEAD FISH.
There is an area outside alongside the building that "weather permitting" allows pet dogs. In accordance with California Law pet dogs must be under the control of their owner either by a leash or confined in a pet carrier. Owners and their pet dogs must use the separate outdoor entrance without going through the food establishment to reach the outdoor patio area. Pet dogs are not allowed on chairs, benches, seats, handheld, on your lap or other fixtures. I hope you and your pet dog have a wonderful time at The Dead Fish!
Pets are allowed on the patio only and are not able to walk through the restaurant. They must use the side entrance and be on a leash at all times and under the control of the dog owner. Pets are not allowed on chairs, seats, benches and tables. Service dogs are allowed in the restaurant. These are all guidelines provided by the Environmental Health Department.
They staff follow city, county and state Covid safety policies. You can order food for takeout or delivery.

I think the food is average and extremely overpriced. Service is average also
No. Nice place to go for a date. You can sit by the fireplace or out on the patio overlooking the water.
Not an actual conference room, but a somewhat large, semi private room. Not really great for a meeting however. It's too loud with the restaurants hustle & bustle happening.

There is no special lunch menu, or time. They offer brunch on the weekends.
