Nice park. Great views of grassy hills, oaks and bay. Dogs must be leashed near cows, otherwise off leash ok). Coyotes, skunk. Overrun with mtn bikers on weekends due to trails out beyond the valley: Moguls, steep slopes and sweeping turns. Clip-on bike bells are available free for borrowing. Sadly, not enough riders use them yet making it hard (especially for dog owners/kids) to get out of the way. Muddy in winter. Ticks spring thru fall.

Great park with scenic views and fairly well maintained trails. (A few trails are getting some high grass). Facilities were available at the top of the hill along with a picnic area. Bring water and sunscreen. And make sure to do a tick check after your visit (a few of our group picked some up in the tall grass trails).

Crockett Hills Regional Park is a great place to go hiking or mountain biking. There are great views on a clear day, and after some rain there beautiful green rolling hills. I saw a coyote hunting for some food in the grass and in underground holes, and the valley deeper into the park is absolutely stunning in Fall. Well worth a visit for a few hours to explore.

So beautiful the views are amazing. There are many hills so do come with water and hydrated. It’s far more beautiful to come after raining season when the hills are green but anytime it’s still nice. I’ve seen jack rabbits, coyotes and even turkeys on this trail. What a wonderful place.

Pretty sure the sign says no unauthorized motorized vehicles, so no.
Dogs are allowed and must be on leash around livestock. There are mutt mitts at the trail head, please pick up after your pooch. Beware of Coyotes as there are many and are out during day.
The first part of the trail is a hilly fire road from the main staging area, but maybe there's another staging area with some paved road, could work for a scooter...
I wouldn't recommend it for children biking though
I don't think there is calling in the park, and I'm not sure if there is any calling nearby.
