Two of Starrette's trucks were speeding in the left lane going South on Interstate 85 in NC on Feb 3rd, 2022. Their trucks were full of mud and rocks and rocks were flying off their trucks hitting motorists. My windshield cracked from a rock originating from their vehicle and my car cameral caught everything. Just look at the photos of the condition of their trucks. They are putting motorists in harms way and creating tremendous inconvenience by damaging other's vehicles. I called the company to request their insurance carrier replace my windshield and their only response was it was my fault I was driving on the highway. They must either 1) have NO insurance or 2) have so many insurance claims they are afraid of their carrier dropping them by reporting this incident. They were SO rude on the phone. These photos are going to the highway patrol for speeding, not maintaining their lane, and improper condition of a vehicle on a motorway. Beware of dealing with this company! Please feel free to call them and complain (see photo for phone number) as this could have been you with a damaged vehicle. 2/21/22 Update - I immediately emailed the business based on their response to my review. Still no response - as expected. Now escalating to BBB and Consumer Affairs.
