San Jose health and rehabilitation center is a wonderful place to liv the staff are all very loving & supportive the administrator Katie’s very understanding & the lady from cooperate over this building Jamie Williams is just Delightful I feel much safer knowing she keeps such a close eye on this place she’s amazing in the fact despite being very busy she always makes herself available I promise you her door is never shut to us we have the most professional and frendliest you would ever meet especially our unit manager Conelius he is full of fun the kitchen manger does his best to meet my needs and I’m a very picky & fussy eater I wish I could say the same thing about the therapy department but again we have a very professional manager over therapy he is very honest and keeps it very real they’re extremely open to doing that part of it your way the important thing is they let you decide how you want to do it except to be honest it really isn’t as intensive as it used to be when I first arrived I complain the most out of every patient I know I’m a nuisance but regardless I know I’m loved by the management I was on the verge of leaving after some though I really wouldn’t want to be anywhere else we don’t have any of the horror stories like most other nursing or long term care facilities not one I’m my entire 6 years of living here I have been popped like a toddler but only out of love like a parent child relationship by the older Cnas one of which that always says I’m going get a spanking but she never does her words really don’t count as she has loved me the most in my entire 6 years I have a family relationship with many of my Cnas it is a shame we don’t have more of them only because they are very picky about what type of people work especially the ones with direct patient aces I se new ones popping up all the time and they usually are the nicest most compassionate & cool people I came here at the premature age of 34/36 way too young for a person in a nursing home, other than the therapy not being intensive enough for my liking as long as I keep a safety first attitude I have been allowed to practice a lot of self determination but I will say this it’s not about where you live that matters it’s about the freedom of letting you choose how you live if only I could post a picture of my fancy lunch’s presentation today I can however describe it perfectly browned cheese Quesadillas with a side of super healthy salad of greens as per my personal request I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else Yes maybe further away from Some the others patio whom of which are not in their there minds however I would suggest that they all be moved to their own personal area

I must say the staff is very pleasant and understanding. Helpful with transitioning in and out the facility. Therapist really cared about stated goals and during the time he was there, they worked towards them. The food could definitely be better and if you want your loved one bathed, it’s best you’re there to help with the upkeep of your loved one. Zyiara Davis was our social service director and she went over and beyond to handle whatever situation I brought to her and needed guidance on. She deserves a 5 ⭐️.

If I could give negative stars I would.. the staff dont tend to the patients.. the food is not suitable for sick ppl.. the staff dont give patients medication on time... I was able to walk in the facility and no one asked me for I'd or anything.. I pray no one sends their loved ones to this facility.. they dont transport patients to their appointments on time.
