Absolutely worth the 2 hour trip! We came to Holden to collect shells and this was the most delightful pitstop along the way home. The owner was so helpful and the ice cream was OUTSTANDING!! We will be back.

If you want ice cream in Holden Beach, this should be your first choice. TOP NOTCH. The restaurant is really neat with a signature shanty look and layout which also includes a gift store. The service at the window was excellent and incredibly considerate. Ice cream came out fast. It's not your run-of-the-mill homemade ice cream. It was DELICIOUS. I had the Big Earl Sundae with a waffle cone and it was legendary. Good stuff. Highly recommend a stop here at least once during any trip to Holden Beach for the experience and great ice cream.

This is the only ice cream we eat in the area and it is the best I’ve had ever! We fell in love with the winter bourbon with the wet walnuts first but branched out to other flavors and every one is great! Even the dairy free sorbet! It’s still creamy and so good! The warm waffle cones are worth the upgrade! Lovely family run business!

We’ve been twice now and tried 5 different flavors. All are awesome! And Whiskey loved the Pup Bowl! We’ll be back to work through some of the other outstanding flavors. Truly homemade: creamy, natural flavors and no ice crystals! And the yard is incredibly cute. We haven’t been on a Saturday. Ishtar but would imagine it’s hopping then.
