Best Beer Den in the state. I’m not lying. Been to at least 5 of them so far. Need a Beer Den at the Old Oak Ridge location though. But besides that, the Food prices are great. Love the Smokehouse meats and the Boxcar coffee.

Have you ever wanted to watch at least 3 customer service people stand around and watch people ride the struggle bus trying to scan items and precariously balance them on the tiny bag turntable? How about paying twice as much for the groceries while you do? Or, maybe you have wanted to top off your shopping experience with watching a mother of multiple small children try to scan her items and keep her children under control? If your answer to these questions is “Hell yeah, sign me up”, then this store is for you. 0/10 do not recommend.

I really enjoy coming here when I’m in town to visit my parents. I especially love the beer den the people who serve me there. However, yesterday I didn’t appreciate the lady talking down to the guy that was running the beer den, training someone, and doing his every day tasks. Leonard has always been a fabulous wait staff and I felt that the brunette lady that worked there, on her day off, criticize him as he was doing several different things. It was off putting for me and completely disrespectful on her part. It won’t stop me from going there but I definitely will walk away if she’s the one serving me.

Previously, I had given Lowes 5 stars and would probably continue to do so if not for a recent incident in the store. Not only do I get paid monthly, I was going into major surgery and knew my elderly mom would be home by herself. I had a cart full of groceries and was at the self check out. Employee Lucero came over and said we had to leave the line because of the amount we had. There is no sign at self check out stating that there is a limit on number of items. I told Lucero that I preferred to stay where I was but she physically took my cart and, without a word, moved it to a line with a cashier. It was 745p and not extremely busy. The cashier was Holden(?) and he was obviously less happy about the situation than it was. As he scanned my items, he was throwing them down the belt to the bagger. Some of the items in the cart he tried to grab and was making such a show of it, the merchandise was falling in the floor. He never looked up from his obligation and, finally, barked a total at me. As much as I have always loved this tore (BEST bakery in town), I will be shopping elsewhere.
