Speaking to a live person on Comcast is almost impossible. You have to listen to that rude automated woman for 15 minutes then she hangs up in your face. You probably have to go there physically and not sure that will even help.
The box is now connected through the internet so welcome to the new era of technology. I am sorry to say but I know everyone would like to have things as “back in the day 1950’s” but is not. Just gonna have to deal with AI.
There is no phone # locally. Your only hope is to call the cable network phone and take you chances on getting someone who speaks English.
Because Xfinity doesn't want people to contact them because their service is not really that good and they know it, if I could get another service provider at my address I would but Xfinity is the only one that services my address, try to do a Google search for Xfinity tech support phone number you just might get lucky.
I speak with customer service and they assisted me with a credit on my account.

Yes it's definitely the worst. Depending on where you live, I would do a search using your phone data, not xfinity. The best one near me is AT&T. Verizon is good aswell. But and I'm waiting patiently for Google fiber!

I think you may have payed last months bill and what is owed is the current months. Its that or they messed up your payments which has happened to me.
If your renting your equipment and ending your service you need to return it. If you dont you'll find an exorbitant charge on your account.
