I've experienced the same thing even going down to the office and I do see employees going into work but the office is still closed same sentiment as well with the phone calls and emails never getting it any return call in spite of what the voicemail recording tells us.

Well technically no, otherwise the employer needs to pay overtime. That should be explained before you even start working, there also should be a handbook for employees by the company you work for, hopefully. If there was consent to stay by the employee then they still should be compensated overtime.

Tim, i honestly don't know. Ive never filed for any kind of unemployment. The amount of money you get for the time that they'll give it. It's not worth the hassle they put you through. I find it easier to just find another job. And get what i need.
