It's a good store with a very large selection. But, they don't have a database so you will have to manually look for your book. And they are pushing a political view. That being Bernie Sandars, agree or disagree with him. It's a book store, politics should be left out. There is a huge Bernie poster in the front. And when I was looking for a Political Science book the same Bernie Sandars book would be mixed in every few dozens books even though B doesn't belong with X. It is a cool experience with a large selection of books, movies and TV. On top of that you can sell stuff to them. But come on, keep Politics out of the book store, aside from books about it.

This has been one of my favorite places since I was a kid. It is a book lover's paradise.

Amazing experience just getting "lost" in the aisle of books. I can't belive I had never visited Chamblin's before. Absolutely a book lovers dream. I'm in love with a place , and it's name is Chamblin.

Just to be clear on Chamblin's buying policy: They will ONLY purchase or give you store credit for books that are in reasonable condition and books they don't already have a huge quantity of or have a reasonable demand for. So to be clear, they do not buy or want EVERY book someone brings in, conditions apply.
Great bookstore
Call them, they do answer the phone and have two locations in Jax area, although one may just be a warehouse not open to the public.
We would have an interest in more magazines, but we are out of room. We will pass on that title for now. But we are buying any book for which there is a reasonable market .. and if we do not have too many copies already.
Their original location does not have a coffee shop, only a huge warehouse like selection of used books. There is a restaurant nearby, just across the street. 📚
I'm sure they would be interested
They do at http://www.chamblinbookmine.com/ But they only have about half their total inventory listed online. So if you're looking for something and it's not there, I would suggest calling the store!
They will on most books.
I don't believe they do. Your best bet would be to call during business hours.
Chamblin's does exchanges, and will buy back your books, but you'll most likely receive less back than what you paid for.
Call them and find out! Work restrictions for minors at 15 are very strict but it doesn’t hurt to try! Put together a resume!
Yes we do ship out of state .. and country.
Mask required. Patrons and employees seem to be very compliant with mask rules.
We have been open for regular business for several months, although we require masks and social distancing. We do still ship books to customers.
That will depend on whether or not Chamblin's has a lot of the same books and their general condition. Take them in to the front desk to be evaluated and be prepared to wait for the answer. I recommend wandering the stacks rather than hovering.
We do ... both instructional and fiction ... non-fiction etc.
I'm not sure. Years ago they did take albums/cds/movies. They still have them. If you find out? Please reach out and let me know. I'd be curious to know.
Please go in person. The experience is worth it.
I didn't see trinkets. Just lots and lots and lots of books
Yes they have movie DVDs so they may purchase/ give credit for them. You need to call them
I believe they do pay for certain books, but you get more if you do the store credit option.
I would suggest directly calling the business of the location you want to apply for, or visiting the store in person.
You can call them and they will get back with you within a couple of hours. They have two big stores and they will check both of them for you.
You can call them and they will check for you. You may have to leave a phone number so they can call you back . I've done it before and usually it takes 10 to 20 minutes to get back to you. If you fo it when they open they can usually check right away. If they don't have it they can order it for you. They also have the store in Riverside and downtown They've helped me find books that were out of print also. Chamblines is a great store for old, to new books. They also buy books. ( you can get a store credit or cash. I love the place
Not that I'm aware, but U should call. They may have a recommendation.
