0 Stars. This was the worst "mexican" food I've ever had. All the items on the combo plate tasted the same, except the enchilada had more salt (texture was like a dumpling.) The ground beef is not seasoned, the tomato sauce poured on top of everything tasted like the sauce in spaghetti O's. The melted cheese was sticky lumps. I don't know how they stay in business. Just a big globby mess. And the 2nd combo plate was never delivered. :(

I have a hard time believing this, I've been here hundreds of times.

Do they take reservations?

They are not required, but I bet they'd let you make a reservation if you asked.

Do they have vegetarian Tamales? Thanks!

Not sure, but I think they might be able to if you asked.

He wouldn't give me hot sauce for my order to go for 4 persons. Mr. Mario told me to just use my salsa from the salsa & chips I ordered or to just take the used bottle of hot sauce from the table that was almost empty. Waitress gave me a cup full!

Three things: 1) Restaurants aren't obligated to give you bottles of hot sauce, full or not, to take home. In fact, I think the staff only did this because they're among the best at any restaurant in Jacksonville. 2) If you like hot sauce so much, why not buy a bottle for yourself? It costs like 2 bucks and lasts forever (assuming you don't put hot sauce on all your food). 3) There's some degree of justice in the fact that you can't even figure out how to write a review instead of asking a question, which is probably the universe protecting great business owners from people who seem so blissfully unaware of your own narcissism that you'd write something like this.
