The Mohonk Reserve is the largest private nature reserve in New York's Shawangank Range. The reserve inspires people to take care of nature and explore it. Mohonk Preserve was designated a National Historic Landmark. The lands of the reserve are open from sunrise to sunset every day for hiking, climbing, cycling and running. Entrance to the Mohonk Reserve for an adult $15. There are many different trails, there are quite simple ones that are suitable even for children. The reserve is very clean. There are a huge number of viewing platforms, many benches (you can sit if you are tired). Along the way, you can see Mohonk Lake and Mohonk Mountain House. You can also get to the top of the Albert K. Smiley Memorial Tower, and from there enjoy the beautiful views.

Prices very per activities $15 for hikers ,$20 for bike trails ,$25 for the properties. Discounts available.
I believe so but not 100% , but it is a great day for a ride to check.
There is a nice spot at Spring Farm Trail head, again this is take in and take out so have a plan for your trash. There's a pavilion that is rented out but not always in use. Coxing kill parking lot has a great area for a picnic as well.
Dogs are permitted on leash on the carriage roads. I believe their FAQ addresses this in more detail.
Yes sure do

20 dollars for biking and climbing and 15 for walking and running. It's really worth it. Enjoy!
I'd reach to Mohonk Mountain House directly either with a phone call or via email.
The Preserve & House are 2 different entities.
I agree one of the easiest trails at the Preserve is overcliff/undercliff. Trapps Road is also a relatively flat, easy trail. The trail around the lake and the trail to the tower are not part of Preserve Property. They are both on Mohonk Mtn. House Property. You can hike the trails at the Mtn. House via the Preserve trails. I wouldn't consider them difficult but they involve a few miles to get to them.
The preserve is open to the public with a fee. You can also make reservations to eat at the hotel even if you're not staying there. Its worth it. The preserve is a gorgeous place to spend the day, and the hotel is a really special place.
