The best secret in NYC. Everything is free and there's no catch! Paddle, life preserver, kayak, lock and key. Volunteer and get to go on trips! Volunteers are super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Excellent experience. Wonderful place to volunteer.

Hi Shivanie, We have not yet opened up for the season. We're working through protocols and procedures to enable use to safely get the public on the water. Keep checking our website, www.downtownboathouse.org , for the latest status.
No there is no immediate parking there. You can probably find street parking or a garage within a few blocks.

No, we'll be open 9am-4:30pm this weekend and Monday for Columbus Day and then we're closed for the season.
Lockers are available free of charge
We're not open on the 19th, we're only open on weekends from now until the end of the season on October 8th, Columbus Day. We'll be open 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekends until then and on Columbus Day itself. Everything is free.
Are you open tomorrow, Monday, May 28, 2019 for kayaking?
Yes. Own Shoes. Something like slip on would work best. I would suggest to you not wear any shoes because they are going to be wet for sure.
