Ive personally never had a great opportunity such as Ruth,s as I had very few friends let alone family. My mother by far was the worst support ststem and still is. I HAVE BEEN HOMELESS W A LITTLE TENDER AND mom wouldn't allow me to live even if I paid. People need to start being greatful not greedy. I bless the staff and support for all the help to communities.....

Yes that is all they take is single females. It is a short program 30 days and you have to get a job and get an apartment. You have to call ahead of time to see if they have any openings the phone number is 570-822-6817

No furniture accepted there. Everything except food goes to Volunteers of America
The Gabriel House in Pittston needs womans clothing, you can just drop off bags in the front.

No. It's a female only shelter.
If you are homeless, you can enter the shelter as long as you provide the information needed.
They can use mostly everything, from hygiene products to food.
