Belive every bad review about this emergency location that you read. My 86 year old grandfather with stage 4 kidney failure, diabetes & high blood pressure. Has been sitting in the waiting room for over 10 hours. The staff talks to the patients like they are 2 years old and reprimanding them and aren't very tentative to the patients needs. The main hospital and emergency side are truly like night and day. If you have an emergency please go to another emergency hospital.

Been here since 4:30 pm and it’s now 11:25 pm. It’s simply the worst! Is this our new healthcare system?? If I could I’d rate it 0000000.

⚠️⚠️⚠️Let this be a WARNING⚠️ ⚠️⚠️ If you can afford or have the time go to a different ER...this one looks like a refugee camp.. seriously. Came in with an acute asthma attack. I had to beg after an hour just to get a breathing treatment. When I finally saw respiratory therapist (another 20 mina later) he confirmed what I could feel. That one of my lungs was completely closed and the other one had a lot of wheezing. Still haven't seen a Dr. And their link thet sent me showing my ETA to get further treatment saws 2 HOURS for an acute asthma attack where they said one of my lungs was closed. In my opinion leadership is probably to blame more than the staff of the ER. They need more HELP down there. And now that Wellstar closing God help who ever needs ER.

Questions & Answers

Why do I have to wait almost 8 hours to see the Doctor this is aweful

Not everyday is the same...while somedays the wait is very long depending on what emerency staff are attending to. It is advisable that if your problem is not and emergency and visit a PCP or urgent care for faster service. As you may wait in the ER for 8hrs and be seen and discharge in 5minutes.
