Very impressed with my PODS experience. Easily the most fuss-free and convenient way to move. The price tag was higher than I anticipated, but it was well worth every penny for a 1,200 mile move.

They cancelled my delivery date due to a paper not signed after I had asked if all is ok. They sent me an e-mail during my transit, and I don't boot up my computer in public places. They could have called at any time and spoke with me, they had my cell number. So they bumped my delivery date by a week and a half. I had much needed medical equipment in the PODS for my wife and could not even find out where they were. Had to rent a bedroom set and other items.

Yes
Some warehouses have climate control some don't but they are all indoors out of the rain and elements when it relates to containers that are full of belongings. Many warehouses have to keep some of their empty containers outside because of space issues.
It varies. Depending on what size container you need and the distance of travel.
I just paid $2500 for their biggest POD from South Jersey to South Florida.
