I'm currently an active member of Anytime Fitness and has been since January 2022, last week I received some sad news about my health condition. I was diagnosed with high blood pressure, diabete and kidney failure. Once I received this information, I reached out the manager in the Oxford, MS pertaining a waiver form I signed back in January. Please keep in mind, I have no medical training and didn't have any when I signed the agreement in good faith. So to today, I went to the facility to speak with the manager and/or manager on duty about my health issues and tried to educate on my current condition. And the manager still refused me the opportunity to update medical information after all test and blood results by license medical personnel. After wavering back and forth, my blood pressure skyrocketed and I asked if her is there any license medical staff member available she stated no and I requested an ambulance. They arrived about 30 minutes later and were very professional. I'm an older African American and just learned my current condition is possibly genetic on my father side of the father. Please be leery signing any form with this company. I will be seeking some legal advice from an attorney and I was hoping to resolve this matter just by being honest about current medical conditions but it appears this company doesn't understand being a diabete and kindney is a serious health condition. They refuse to reply to any emails unless they are trying get someone to become an active member. Example, a simple scratch might take months to heal and possibly may never heal. I feel I've a due process right to update information that is incorrect. This is an update on this matter regarding Anytime Fitness [04-272022] the message above to Anytime Fitness and/or the Public. I spoke to the cooperate office and they assured me someone will be in contact with me pertaining the my health waiver form within 24 hour. After speaking with customer support manager, she stated the notes mentioned someone would reach out to me pertaining this important matter. I respectfully explained to her that I recieved an email reply from the initial one star I gave them based on their action and the reply stated someoen will be in contact with me and I have the rights to update my health information. So my major issue is it more important to reply to my review or calling me and allow me the opportunity to update my medical waiver based on my current health condition?

Love this gym. Was at a previous gym in Oxford that never cleaned and neglected the equipment. I joined Anytime and they are the complete opposite. Gym is always immaculate and the staff is great. Always say hello and they are really friendly. Have been a member of many gyms and worked in a few…..I’d recommend this place 100%Hey Daniel! Thank you for the great review!
