The people have been very helpful, in the office and in the food distribution building. The office and the waiting area is fairly new and a welcome sight to see. It makes you feel more comfortable.

The gentleman on the phone for the utilities assistant is rude and has quite an attitude for a Christian help center. I'd rather go broke than meet this man in person as I would catch a charge talking to him. Word of advice. This is a Christian assistance center for utilities. Perhaps find someone who doesn't have the rudeness nor attitude. As some of us don't take that attitude so well. What would Jesus do??

Yes but they are very strict and picky about helping people. I was homeless and in need of a shower and clean clothes, and LAST time i was there they told me apply for disability and food stamps which i have. But because i didnt have proof of this they would NOT help me!

Well sorry I didn't have the same respect y'all did this is also in lake city fl ,I had a couple behind me and they said the same thing they were wrong for what they did to me

When available yes. You can call and ask what they have but make sure you have a full size pickup truck to pick up any furniture that they have or they will not release it
You can also try Behavior Health. I think they have a specialist over there Keyona that helps with things like this.

If you are wanting to donate,call the center after 10 am. They can let you know if dishwashers are being accepted. It all depends on storage space.
