Pride in management/ownership shows here. Even in a short-staffed world, somehow this place remains clean and quiet. A short Uber to downtown. We stay here 3-4 times a year. Breakfast is served in a large open room. Coffee is good. Always very clean.

Terrible check-in experience. Didn't stay because front desk clerk was angry and short about everything. It was an older man who seemed like he didn't care about anything. He actually told me I couldn't stay and needed to leave the property when I challenged his incompetence. Wouldn't give me his name as well. Don't stay here.

Positive: TV picture Negative: Dirty wash cloth in bathroom left. Fitness room should have been closed more of a safety issue than anything non functional equipment. Dirty underwear, pizza boxes in hall way. Poor lighting in parking lot, outdated overall and over priced. ++ more.

My stay at the Wingate was not the best. I realize different people have different standards. Check in was good the rooms are out dated and very dark most of the interior is covered up with stain or paint to try to make it look more updated.The inside of the hotel had a strong marijuana smell. The hall way had empty pizza boxes and dirty underwear laying in the floor and doors to the rooms standing wide open with nobody in them with beds messed up and clothes and towels on the floor. After entering our room the shower had a dirty wash cloth laying on the top of the shower curtain rod. The shower curtain rod was hung at an angel making it impossible to keep closed. The fitness room may as well had been closed as nothing work properly, just more or less a safety issue. To sum this up at 200.00 dollars a night and out of date the only thing I can say is overpriced and outdated.
