Wonderful to revisit one of my favorite places to eat and drink from my student years at MSU. Still looks largely the same; stained glass light fixtures, rough, old timbers and lots memorabilia on the walls. Nice ambiance, good food and drinks.

Went for the Easter Buffet the food was cold, the prime rib, asparagus, potatoes, and wilted salads. The pancakes fell flat, and you had to sort the bacon to see which pieces had any crisp. The saving graces were as follows decent warm egg dish prepared to order and a hard working server. Talked with the manager he graciously cut the tab in half, it was 37 per person. My only question is having had many well prepared meals why would you want to offer a buffet I think your much better than that. You don’t need a buffet, your kitchen is on point.

Two old Sparties in town for a getaway. With all the new development in the downtown area, I'm extremely pleased to report that Beggar's Sunday brunch still brings it. The wife had cinnamon french toast/bacon and I built a smoked salmon omelet w/home fries and wheat toast. Food was delicious, vibe was strong, staff were friendly. Go eat and drink with confidence!

First of all, great service. We sat at the bar for Sunday brunch and the woman who helped us was terrific. We got a spiked macchiato, with fresh whipped cream. That was so yummy. I had Cali Benedict...so good. The place was really busy, and it's because it was amazing.

About a 20-25 minute walk. A mile or so walking but a longer distance driving because of one way roads on campus
