We were passing through Harrisburg, and my husband is a big fan of Pubs, so we thought we would give McGrath's a try. We have pretty high expectations when it comes to Pub's and good food in general. This place did not disappoint! I ordered the duck and they just substituted more vegetables for Boxty, since I am gluten free. It was cooked to perfection, and one of the best duck dishes I have ever had. The pear chutney combination was amazing! My husband said the genuine shepherd's pie (lamb!) was extremely tasty, and a generous portion! The prices are VERY reasonable. We came on a Wednesday. It was quick service, and although the server said she was new, she did a wonderful job, and was very helpful! Would definitely recommend this place.

Its more of a bar/pub, I dont think I'd take young kids there.

No they do not
I've seen plenty of dogs out front and it's shady depending on time of the day. I've also seen a dog upstairs on their deck that is nicely shaded. Not sure if they needed permission to take their dog up there though.
Yes they do have their own WIFI
I believe it closes around 11, I've been there at midnight and i was unable to get food.
