Beautiful place, everyone I met was very knowledgeable, answered any questions, offered tips and advice - loved it! Hope to go back some day.

One of the best museums we have visited. Plan on spending a few hours visiting as there is a lot to see. It's very well organized & presented. Unfortunately we were with a group & didn't have nearly enough time.

Absolutely loved this American treasure!! It is in Harrisburg Pa. Very clean and organized. Leave yourself about 4 hours to really get everything out of it. Staff is very accommodating and pleasant. A must see!

Lots of artifacts, various interesting video clips and reenactments

Yes...the grounds are wonderful.
Yes, everyone interested in American history should visit the museum. In my opinion, the museum seems to tell the story of the war being about states’ rights rather than slavery. So if for nothing more than to get a different historical perspective, it’s worth seeing.
The museum is not in the greatest tourist area. I highly recommend something OUTSIDE downtown Harrisburg for your own good!

We do not encourage legally permitted guns in the Museum, but we leave the decision up to the individual.
Judging by your avatar, you should not be allowed to carry not even a plastic fork. 🤣
As far as I know yes he has

No, I'm sorry, we are closed on Easter Sunday.
13 dollar adult admission. Less for children and seniors
We just went in January 2019. It was 13 adult, 12 senior and child 11. I thought I saw somewhere that there was a military discount but the girl with no hesitation said no. Now I wish I would've checked on groupon first as there was a deal there. It was very well worth it and I'd love to see it again. Need at least 4 hours to see it or most of it.
Staybridge suites next to farm show on industrial Dr. Also Hotels on n. front St
You would need more than an hour to see it anyway.
Try to find a deal on groupon before purchasing at the museum.
At least 3. More of you wish to read all of the placards at each exhibit.
Yes just ask a staff member
