This is one of Lansing's premiere alternative lifestyle destinations: it caters to the older crowd but is now and has always been a hip bar with a personality. Gay friendly. Good events on the holidays. Absolutely love the people and the relaxed atmosphere. Great place to spend a Friday night.

Esquire is a quiet neighborhood bar that welcomes anyone. The clientele is predominantly gay, but many, me for instance, are bi. It's easy to have a conversation with someone you just met.
Esquire is sort of our gay Cheers. Tolerant and decent people.
There really isn't one. But the Thursday night Karaoke is the best night
I'm pretty sure happy hour is daily from open (3pm) to 7pm or 8pm.
