The weight loss plan is closely monitored and the staff is very supportive. With each visit, you will see a nurse practitioner, a nutritionist and exercise coach. They keep you on track and motivated.

Highly recommend New Horizons Medical. Excellent program & great staff. Results oriented, with focus on my overall health & well being. Extra thank-you to Melissa & Kelly for their constant support and friendly interactions. Much appreciated.

The staff here are all so helpful and have given me the tools necessary to get down to my goals and exceed them. I would enthusiastically recommend this place for anyone who is struggling with their weight. Mellissa the secretary is a sweetheart and so isn’t Roberta the Nurse Practitioner.

*****updated 4/8/19**** In response to the owner.. i did talk with Al.. several times....When we last spoke he was going to look into something on my account that occurred in July of 2018 and get back to me.... well.. he never got back to me and that was many many weeks ago. I dont think he is interested in helping me clear up the matter. I am now convinced I was billed these charges as soon as they found out I had left the program... Its the only explanation I can come up with.. Original review: I wish I could review this place twice.. one for the actual program and one for the stuff that happened to me at the end. I was a patient from March 2017 thru Jan 2019. The program works if you stick to it. Its all about accountability and discipline. I had tremendous success on this program and I learned a ton about nutrition that will stay with me forever. The staff was always friendly and willing to help. However, the turnover I experienced was very hard to deal with. Every week it seemed I was talking to someone new and it became exhausting. Luckily the nutritionist I had was there the whole way thru.. until she ended up leaving as well. At that point I decided it was time for me to move onto something else. Unfortunately my experience didn't end well as after I told them I was leaving... bills started coming in for "no show" appointments as far back as Nov 2018. I was always appreciative of the staff to be able to call and reschedule my appointments as life happens. I was never charged a fee. However, the moment I told them I was leaving the program, bills started to arrive that were billing me from "no show" appointments several months earlier. After many phone calls they wouldn't budge and sadly I am leaving the program with a bitter taste in my mouth. Pls be aware of this if you decide someday to move on.

Mary, Please visit our website at: www.newhorizonmed.com to view the video “New Patient Orientation” on our home page which describes our program in detail. We are a full medical practice specializing in the treatment of obesity, weight loss and weight management. We do accept most major health insurances. Being a full medical clinic, our patients pay a copayment at each weekly visit. If you pay a copayment at your other medical appointments, you will be responsible for a copayment at New Horizon Medical. If you have a deductible, you will be responsible for your deductible. If your insurance requires you to get referrals for medical specialists, you will need a referral for New Horizon. For more information or to book an appointment please call 774-215-5579 and someone will gladly go over the program with you.
I have similar insurance and it is billed as an office visit not specialist. I've been in the program for about 11 months.
