I never used to shop here but I recently started coming here more they have a huge variety of things that I like or that my family likes that I can't get anywhere else. And although I've live here most of my life and have been here numerous times before only about a month ago did I notice that they have a beautiful display of historical photos of Torrington at the entrance of the automatic doors which made me love it even more

My usual go to grocery store in town. Seen some familiar faces come and go. Changes in management recently have made it a not so great experience. John the head cashier is great and there is another shorter woman with reddish hair and glasses who is also wonderful. There is a new manager, I think her name is April? She is so rude. She’s never smiling like the last managers were. Dave, the previous manager, whenever I had an issue he was always willing to help. I went to April with a similar issue that Dave before in the past was able to rectify and correct for me without any hesitation. I went up to April with the same issue her first response to me was “what”? Not hi how are you or anything just “what”? Told her what I dealt with and she immediately shot me down and said there was nothing she could do. Now managers are supposed to be a model figure of what associates should be. If you want this location to be prominent in growth for years to come then you need to hire more people like John and the woman I was mentioning and Dave. However if you want the business to suffer with low employee retention rate and poor customer service then continue to hire people like April.
