Should the patient decide to keep a tooth that is infected the only option that patient would have is to do a RCT on that tooth, we however do not perform any root canal treatment in our office. Dear Manuel, Thank you for your question. The American Pediatric Association recommends having all kids by age 2 to visit the dentist. This is to make sure all dental anatomy is normal; the dentition is developing normal and to evaluate diet /oral hygiene.
