As a fan of gumbo I was excited to try this place out. At $26 a serving I was a bit reluctant but decided to try some for takeout anyways. The gumbo came with scallops instead of chicken, which technically is an upgrade so I wasn't too upset about that, but the flavor was very bland. Upon further inspection it seems they didn't even use andouille sausage and instead used some smoked kielbasa type. Gumbo didn't even have okra.

Adored my experience here. The grio was flavorful and juicy. The gumbo was authentic. Chicken wasn't dry, but soft and flavorful. The flavor is on point and lots of French bread to share. Such a unique eatery and highly reccomended. I got a glass of beer for only $3.50 too.Awesome. Glad we satisfied!

We take a waitlist reservation which gives you priority seating at the time of your reservation. We are a small restaurant and surprisingly in the last year we have had only a few occasions where people had to wait longer than 20 minutes for their table. Thanks for your questions. Staff wear masks, take their temperature, hand wash regularly, use gloves when handling food directly. Plexiglass shields are used at cash register and hand sanitizer is available for customer and staff use. Thanks for asking.
