I had a great time at the Marriott Lakeshore Reserve. The room was clean and spacious, you couldn't hear any other guests so that was a plus. Our balcony had a great view of the J.W Marriott Hotel as well. I would definitely go back.

During our stay, the resort decided to start their renovations in the surrounding rooms beside us, above us, beneath us. So for 10 days we heard nothing but banging, drilling, pounding, scraping, hammering, crashing, slamming all throughout. This interfered with our sleep and other activities. Also, we were supposed to have a villa, but they put us in small adjoining rooms when we checked in. The quality of the rooms and bathrooms were not up to par at all. Bathroom sink drain was broken, faucets corroded, tub & tiles stained & cruddy. Bedrooms very small. Other than that, the resort in general is beautiful and truly a great place to vacation.

This place was exactly what we needed after being away from home for over a week. Our room was a one bedroom condo with a washing machine and dryer in our unit. We were able to get all of our laundry done, spread out to reorganize our luggage, enjoy a nice dinner, and relax. The only negative, the room was not cleaned properly (stuff on the floor and in the freezer) and we couldn't get the ice maker to work. Otherwise, this was amazing!

I'm here now but don't know when that will happen. The couches definitely need to be replaced. They're not comfortable.
It's a third of a mile (400m) to the JW Marriott, and another third of a mile to the Ritz Carlton. The amenities at JW Marriott and Ritz Carlton can be used while staying at Lakeshore Reserve. You can charge things back to the Lakeshore Reserve room at JW Marriott, but need to pay for activites/food/etc at the Ritz Carlton directly.

There is a Hertz car rental at the JW Marriott on the same property. It is a short walk or golf cart ride (ask the front desk) over there.
Unfortunately there is no complimentary breakfast. There are plenty of good establishments to eat at
Plenty of pots, dishes, and silverware as well as a dishwasher in the 1 bedroom or larger units.
No free meals, but good reasonably priced food at Blossom's on the property and lots of restaurants nearby. Also happy hour food and drinks there. The restaurants at the JW Marriott and Ritz on the same property are more pricey.
