We stayed at the Alvord Hotsprings, but ate all our good at the Station. We were do blown away by the service and the great food! The Station is a true high desert Oasis. We will be back and next time we'll rent a room for a night.

Good food and excellent shakes. The staff was courteous and the hotel was worth the stay. Justin was pleasant to chat with. The store has most everything and worth a stop.

The wait for the milkshakes was so well worth it. It was busy, but everyone was so friendly while we waited and shared stories. They were sold out of a few staple items, but understandably so after a busy weekend. We left some of our souvenirs on the table outside, but called the next morning and they saved them for us to come pick up. They were super helpful. Ray & Jordan were awesome. We look forward to our next visit. 10 star experience for our family. Thank you.

Presently there is a high or extreme fire alert. So no off road vehicles are allowed if the "desert" near fields. But if you have a trailer you can cart your atv's up to the Alvord dry lake bed, about 10+ miles north of fields. The dry lake bed is like the salt flats but alkaline. No fire hazard there.
They have 2 motel rooms, and 2 homes. They are both very clean and the cafe has great food along with the best milk shakes you will ever have!
