We are coming from Salem. We have an ATV and a Dirt bike...where are areas to ride around here? We want to know in advance weather we should even bring them. Thanks!

Presently there is a high or extreme fire alert. So no off road vehicles are allowed if the "desert" near fields. But if you have a trailer you can cart your atv's up to the Alvord dry lake bed, about 10+ miles north of fields. The dry lake bed is like the salt flats but alkaline. No fire hazard there.
