Finding The Force
Years ago we drove our little two-year-old boy out there and had a great time. They have lots of treats to discover that are delicious and homemade. That was probably the best apple pie I have ever had. The one thing I would ask them to …

I've always made it a tradition to go. It's Fun! They open mid August to early December. October is the peak month. Great crafters at all locations!

Had a nice warm bowl of chili on a cold day and one of the best Dutch apple pies I've ever had! The man that works in one of the booths gave our son duck food to feed the ducks in the pond. The fudge store was closed but it still a great trip.

This is a beautiful drive along a country road. A perfect place for families, a romantic afternoon or even a first date. Fresh pies, apples and food. You will find many unique booths with handmade …

We are open 7 days a week. Mon-Fri 9-5 Sat-Sun 9-6
Nope , it was last night for couple of hours but we don't have electricity, pg&e shout it off for precaution
not there - they have apples for sale, though. looked like there were a couple farms that had u pick still.
According to their website, High Hill does not ship any products.
I hope they are not. They should be able to have a nice day with their families. They definitely open on Friday.
I have been on a few trips including late last year and have not seen anything like that unfortunately.
Apple HILL IS ABOUT THE ONLY PLACE I KNOW WERE TO GO GET FRESH APPLE PIE'S there OTHER PLACES BEHIND APPLE HILL THAT SELL APPLE'S AND OTHER THINGS
Hi Marina, thank you for your interest in our property. Unfortunately, our Apple Hill Farm is closed until mid August. This time of year, there are tractors and machines running throughout our apple orchard. We ask for your cooperation in keeping out of our orchard during this time for your safety and the safety of the public. The best time to take photos on site would be September through December. Hope this helps!
High Hill Ranch is pet friendly. Their Apple Hill Farm has plenty of room to walk your family pet including several grassy areas and a large fishing pond for kids.
It looked like it was open on Satuday 10.23.21
I have not been there in heavy rain but I would expect the ones under covers would be open.
There is lake side camping at Sly Park about ten miles up hwy 50. Rv and tent camping. Ghost Mountain is just up the road as well and there's a nice KOA west of High Hill. There are also plenty of camping areas in Coloma, (about 20 miles) or up Hwy 50 near Ice House and Union Valley.
Consider finishing up your Christmas shopping at High Hill Ranch. AND As A Crafter myself, We ARE Open On Black Friday and NO LINES.
They are usually closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Go to the CHP website for traffic information.
It was open when I went a couple weekends ago. They are asking patrons to wear masks when inside any of the facilities.
Depends on where you go and if you want a take home pie to bake. A popular farm that's called high hill baked whole is about $19/20 by the slice $5/6. If you go to high hill they are also know for the apple donuts. So yummy! Single is about 1.70 a dozen $16. Have fun!! 🥧
How much does it cost if you bring your own rod and bait?
I believe they are in season now. I've seen people selling them at roadside stands.
I read a sign while in the line for food and I recall it said Thanksgiving eve at 5 p.m..
You will need to contact your bank provider and report the financial fraud charge.
Some vendors will have their shop tents up until Thanksgiving weekend.
Hey Xavier I'm not sure! I know for a fact there is no catch and release so once you catch the fish you need to keep the fish. My guess is that they will want you to rent their own equipment. Although I would probably bring your pole just in case. I hope this helps
Look at their website. They also have apps in iOS and android, just go to their respective app store and download the app. www.applehill.com
We were up there opening weekend and there was hardly anyone there. The donuts and pie were awesome!!
I believe that High Hill Ranch has GF option for the pies
Yes.
Not sure...sorry! Probably couldn't hurt to go prepared.
I went on Monday and it was only about 20% of normal.
I was just there...no power outages there
They are open during power outages and most operations still function properly. You might want to bring cash just in case
I don't believe they ship.
They usually do!
For sure they have reasonable prices and it is about their busy season.
Yes😋 High Hill Ranch
Opens Labor day weekend- December. October is pretty busy. I like going in September.
Yes, you can fish at High Hill Ranch on Carson Road, Camino during the Apple Hill season Labor Day through about November. It's small and really meant more for children. I think they have the poles and bate and they charge to fish there.
Yes you can
December 24th
Either way but you do have to pay
I would call High Hill Ranch and ask them to connect you with the T-shirt lady. Surely if you tell them what happened to you that they will help
Call
Not for sure. News did say Placerville area also.
Don't go on the weekend
There were on Saturday. Not sure if Monday, the Ranch staff can afford to run the pony rides
Yes they are. You can have your dog with you as long as you have him/her on a leash.
It's free. You can walk around & check things out. Bring cash for vendors crafts & food.
it only cost if you buy something, otherwise it's free to look around and park
I saw Asian pears there last week. But not regular ones.
The roads are narrow and at high hill most of the parking lot is in the orchard. It is possible to find a place close to the building where keep the equipment
